Mon, 05 Jan 2015 18:16:00 +0000https://digital-photography-school.com/?p=38708#comment-665978Great tips , most of them I already used , especially with live view for imaging night skies 🙂 …. or astrophotography . But another issue you didn’t talk about is macrophotography ….. What is the best way to do ? Imaging you see a dragonfly , a butterfly or whatever jumps and flies around …. and want to capture it . There’s not much time left to play around !. What I prefer : Set your aperture ( mostly aperture priority, try to approach the insect or bug carefully . Focus manually ( only !!!! ) and shoot . Move your camera slowly forward and backward supported by a one leg tripod , without touching focus and take 10-15 shots , as much as possible . Later on I select the best one . I do not know if there’s another technique ( yeah , focus bracketing but that’s far beyond my experience :p and I wouldn’t know how to do this with my Canon 550D ( and 100mm macrolens ) . Any tips for this ?

Mon, 05 Jan 2015 15:43:00 +0000https://digital-photography-school.com/?p=38708#comment-665965trend is changing.. you are explained most of the video about how a camera focus instead of a basic photographer’s job on focus. anyway the camera cannot identify a subject and what to explore and to focus sharply.. most of the AF dependable photographers get most of the frame out of focus and select and go with the focused one… Focusing a subject in a frame is a photographer’s job.
